Q: My church and reception location already has an on-site coordinator. Why would I need to hire you?

A: An on-site church wedding coordinator is good at running the rehearsal with the officiant and lining up the bridal party for the processional. They DO NOT make sure that all the groomsmen have boutonnierres on before picture time on the wedding day. They won't know where to call if your flowers don't arrive or the limo is late. They won't handle any last minute emergencies such as fixing a fallen hem on your dress or removing dirt marks from it.

Q: I have paid all my deposits to my vendors before the wedding. What can I do if one of them doesn't return my confirmation calls the week before the wedding?

A: Another great reason to have hired a wedding coordinator for your big day. Just call us and let us know your having trouble confirming the arrangements if you haven't already secured one of our packages that will handle this service for you. We will find another reputable vendor quickly and put them on stand-by just in case the one you have hired doesn't come through.

Q: I really don't think I can afford to hire a wedding coordinator with all the other expenses. What should I do?

A: Our packages fit into most budgets and we can customize one specially for you if you are on a particularly tight budget. Keep in mind that you spend money hiring a DJ, photographer, videographer, florist, cake, etc. Why wouldn't you spend a little extra to have peace of mind that your day will run smoothly? We can often save you money and headaches by making suggestions to reduce costs and by putting you in touch with reliable vendors.

Q: I'm really enjoying the planning process and I cringe at the thought of hiring a wedding coordinator. I don't want you to take over my plans. Will this happen if I hire you?

A: Absolutely not! By hiring us you can really enjoy your wedding day even more by not having to worry about all the little behind the scenes items. We will give you as much or as little help as you need, but will always follow your wishes. As your coordinator, we will provide you with a timeline and checklist to help you prepare and not forget anything for your big day.

Q: I noticed that Tracie is a member of Weddings Beautiful Worldwide and has the title Certified Wedding Consultant. What does that mean?

A: All Weddings Beautiful Worldwide members have agreed to uphold a code of Ethics and Standard of Excellence. They have been educated in the areas from wedding invitations and etiquette, receptions, wedding fashions, bridal registry, contracts, religions and more. By successfully completing this extensive study program and a final exam, Tracie has received the title of Certified Wedding Consultant.

Q: I don't live in Michigan. Can you still coordinate my wedding?

A: Certainly! We can coordinate your wedding wherever you live, but you will be expected to pay the hotel and travel costs. See Wedding Planning Packages for more information.
